Bruce Highway MVA requires rescue chopper

Bundaberg based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue has flown to a motor vehicle accident on the Bruce Highway near Wallaville south of Bundaberg at 11.11am.

The accident involving two vehicles occurred when one of the vehicles collided with the car travelling in front causing injury to the drivers.

The rescue service airlifted the driver of the car travelling at the rear, a 20 year old female who sustained a suspected leg fracture. 

The patient was taken to Bundaberg hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
