Woman airlifted from north west of Gympie after horse fall

RACQ CareFlight flew to a property 25 km's N.W. of Gympie near the town of Woolooga Sunday morning to airlift a woman in her late fifties who had fallen from a horse whilst out riding.

Once on scene the rescue helicopter's medical team assisted the QAS in treating the woman who had suffered a suspected spinal injury. She was stabilised and airlifted to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition.
