Western Downs Woman airlifted after horsefall

A woman has been airlifted by RACQ CareFlight Rescue after falling off a horse at property near Condamine today. 

The woman sustained suspected head injuries when the horse she was riding landed on top of her after she was thown.

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) road-transported the patient to Miles Hospital where she was met by a Critical Care Doctor and Flight Intensive Care Paramedic on-board the Toowoomba-based helicopter.

They treated the woman before flying her to Toowoomba Base Hospital.

She travelled in a stable condition.
