Two young girls airlifted after scolding burns at Fraser Island

RACQ CareFlight Rescue’s Sunshine Coast crew flew to Kingfisher Bay Resort on Fraser Island where two young sisters had suffered burns after boiling water fell on them.

Two young girls holidaying from Sydney have suffered burns to their bodies after hot water splashed on them whilst preparing noodles in their holiday unit at the resort.

Both were airlifted to Nambour General Hospital in a stable condition with minor burns and are hoping to continue their holiday on Monday.
