Teenager airlifted after being entrapped upside in vehicle

RACQ CareFlight Rescue's Bundaberg helicopter was tasked to a single vehicle rollover South West of Maryborough, near the town of Glenbar Sunday morning at about 6:30am.

Once on scene the crew found a male teenager that was still encapsulated upside down in the vehicle he was driving.

All emergency services worked on freeing the driver from the vehicle which had closed the highway for a period of time.

Once released, he was treated on site for crush injuries to his right arm before being airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a stable condition.
