SGAS rescue helicopter airlifts injured motorist

The Surat Gas Aero-Medical Service (SGAS) helicopter rescue service has airlifted a motorist in his 40s suffering multi trauma injuries after the car he was driving rolled on the Carnarvon Highway near Rewan, 80km north of Injune. 

The Roma based rescue crew was tasked to the scene of the single vehicle crash just after midnight last night.

The injured man was airlifted to Roma Hospital, attended by a CareFlight Doctor and Intensive Care Flight Paramedic during the flight.

He travelled in a stable condition.
