Infant airlifted after being injured by mower

An infant has been airlifted by RACQ CareFlight Rescue overnight with serious injuries after being run over by a mower.

The rescue helicopter service, with a Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital Paediatric team on board, was tasked to Toowoomba Hospital at 8pm last night.

The little boy sustained serious leg and back injuries from the mower blades.

He was flown to the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition in the early hours of this morning.
