4WD rollover leads to double airlift

Two Brisbane men aged in their 20s were airlifted by RACQ CareFlight Rescue from a property in Quinalow, near Toowoomba after a vehicle they were travelling with rolled over on Friday night.

It’s believed six men were travelling in the vehicle at the time of the accident, two of which were thrown from the vehicle causing multiple injuries.

One man suffered suspected head and arm injuries, while a second man suffered suspected rib fractures.

The Toowoomba-based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to the scene of the accident from the Clive Berghofer CareFlight Centre shortly after 8pm.

The CareFlight clinical team assisted Queensland Ambulance Service and Queensland Fire and Rescue crews at the scene before transporting two patients.

Both men were flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.

An additional three patients were also taken to Toowoomba Hospital via road ambulance.
