Three people escape serious injury after head on crash

Three people have escaped serious injury after a head on crash at Darr Creek west of Kingaroy this afternoon.

The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to the mission, but those involved in the crash didn’t require immediate air transfer.

It’s believed the two vehicles were entering and exiting a petrol station when the collision occurred.

The Toowoomba crew has now been tasked on another mission, to airlift a patient from Jandowae with suspected spinal injuries after an earlier motorbike crash.

The patient travelled in a stable condition to the Toowoomba Base Hospital.

He’s the second motorbike crash victim CareFlight has airlifted in less than 24 hours.

A young man has multitrauma injuries after hitting a wallaby and then sliding off the road and into a barbed wire fence at Glastonbury, west of Gympie overnight.

He was transferred from Gympie to Nambour Base Hospital in a stable condition.
