Teen airlifted from Bjelke-Petersen Dam after water sporting accident

A 17-year-old boy who sustained a suspected head injury from a water tubing accident at Bjelke-Petersen Dam this afternoon was airlifted by RACQ CareFlight Rescue.

The Sunshine Coast helicopter crew met Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics at the scene and transferred the patient, who was in a stable condition to Nambour Hospital.
