Six year old airlifted after falling into campfire

RACQ CareFlight flew to Landcruiser Mountain Park (45km N.W. of Kilcoy) Sunday morning where a six year old girl suffered burns to her upper legs.

It's believed the family from the north side of Brisbane was packing for the morning when the young girl fell into the campfire.

Although there were no flames the coals where still hot after the fire was used Saturday evening.
The patient and her mother were airlifted in a stable condition to the Royal Brisbane Hospital for further treatment in the burns unit.
