Motorcycles crash on Isis Highway, Kullogum

RACQ CareFlight Rescue has flown to the scene of a two motorcycle crash on the Isis Highway at Kullogum.

Two riders had been travelling along the highway when they crashed sometime this morning.

The Bundaberg based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter flew to the scene where its Flight Intensive Care Paramedic treated a 50 year old Fraser Coast man.

He suffered chest and internal injuries and was flown to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The second rider was taken to Childers Hospital by road ambulance.

One in 10 of all RACQ CareFlight Rescue missions are to treat and airlift patients seriously injured in motor vehicle accidents.
