Man airlifted after ladder fall

A man in his sixities has been airlifted to hospital by RACQ CareFlight Rescue with suspected head injuries and a broken leg after falling two and half metres from a ladder.

The man was chainsawing tree limbs from around his property home near Kingaroy early this afternoon when he slipped and fell while trying to recover a severed tree branch.

He was treated on the scene by QAS, before being airlifed by the Toowoomba RACQ CareFlight crew to Toowoomba Base Hospital in a stable condition.
