Man airlifted after carnival ride fall
A man has been airlifted by the RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter after falling from a carnival ride that was being set-up ahead of this weekend’s Warwick Rodeo.
The 58 year old was working on the ride this afternoon when he slipped and fell approximately three metres.
The steel arm of the ride then fell on top of him.
The Brisbane man suffered a fractured pelvis, fractured right leg and possible spinal injuries.
The patient was taken to Warwick Hospital just before 6pm where he was met by the Toowoomba-based RACQ CareFlight Rescue crew.
He was then airlifted to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
