Elderly man injured in quad bike crash

The Bundaberg-based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter has flown to a property 200km south west of Bundaberg this afternoon to airlift a man in his 70s who was injured in a quad bike crash.

The man suffered a concussion and some suspected spinal injuries when he came off the bike.

The helicopter and crew landed on the 24,000 acre cattle property to treat the elderly gentleman and transport him to Bundaberg Base Hospital.

He travelled in a stable condition.
