Careflight airlifts child bitten by snake
A 10 year old New South Wales boy has been airlifted to Brisbane’s Mater Children’s Hospital following a snake bite.
The Toowoomba based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to Warwick Hospital just before 10pm last night to retrieve the young patient, who was accompanied by his mother on the journey.
He travelled in a stable condition to the Mater where he will receive specialist care.
No further details on the type of snake or how the bite happened are known at this stage.
