Boy airlifted after fall from ute

A boy has been airlifted from Lismore to the Gold Coast overnight with head injuries after it’s believed he fell from a ute.

The Gold Coast RACQ CareFlight Rescue crew was tasked to Lismore Base Hospital just after 9.30 last night.

The child was airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

It's the second fall from a moving vehicle in three days.

A woman had a suspected fractured skull and was airlifted by the Toowoomba RACQ CareFlight Rescue crew after falling from a moving vehicle at Goondiwindi Sunday.

She was airlifted to Toowoomba Base Hospital in a stable condition.
