Tourist falls 10 metres down cliff face at Agnes Waters

A Melbourne man has been airlifted to hospital by RACQ CareFlight Rescue after falling down a cliff face at Agnes Water this afternoon.

The Bundaberg crew flew to the aid of the 36 year old who fell 10 metres down rocks landing on scrub below.

The man suffered a fractured leg and possible spinal injuries.  He was initially treated by ambulance officers and stretchered to a clear location.

RACQ CareFlight landed on the beach and stabilised the man before airlifting him to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
