Saturday 21 September 2013

The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was called in to assist a teenage girl at Springbrook this evening after she suffered a suspected asthma attack.

A CareFlight Doctor assessed the young patient who suffered breathing difficulties while walking with friends.

The patient was stable enough to be transported to Gold Coast Hospital by road ambulance. CareFlight's Critical Care Doctor accompanied the patient in the ambulance and the helicopter flew back to base.
