Man breaks neck in Biggenden quad bike crash

The Bundaberg RACQ CareFlight Rescue crew flew to a property at Biggenden this afternoon to airlift a man who broke his neck in a quad bike crash.

The man, in his 40s, was riding alone and used a mobile phone to call family following the crash. The man’s wife located him injured on the property and called QAS Paramedics.

RACQ CareFlight’s chopper landed at the scene shortly after to airlift the patient to hospital for further treatment.

The crew is currently en route to the PA Hospital in Brisbane.
