Four injured in Bruce Highway rollover

RACQ CareFlight Rescue has flown to the scene of a single vehicle rollover on the Bruce Highway, approximately 40 kilometers north of Gin Gin.

Three of the four occupants travelling in the four-wheel-drive, including the driver, escaped with minor injuries but a rear seat passenger remained trapped for some time.

The Bundaberg based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to the scene where emergency services worked to free the 23 year old woman from the wreckage.

She was safely extracted and assessed by the helicopter’s intensive care flight paramedic for minor injuries.

All four were taken to hospital by road ambulance in a stable condition.

The highway remained closed to motorists for some time.
