Teenager ejected from car

The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to Esk Hospital to airlift a 16 year old male who sustained injuries after being ejected from a moving vehicle.

The boy was a passenger in a car when it hit a pothole, throwing the boy out the passenger window, breaking his leg and fracturing his hip.

He was also treated for suspected spinal injuries.

He was airlifted to the PA Hospital in a stable condition.
