Pregnant driver injured in crash

The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter has been tasked to Stanthorpe to airlift a pregnant driver who has sustained head injuries after a single vehicle accident.

It’s believed the 31 year old was driving a vehicle that was carrying six Korean nationals when it left the road and hit a tree.

One of the passengers was trapped for a period of time before being pulled from the wreckage by QFRS crews.

The patient was airlifted to Royal Brisbane Hospital in a serious condition.
