Fingers severed in farming accident

The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to airlift a male who has severed several fingers in a farming accident.

The 24 year old tourist was working on a farm, about 50kms north-west of Dalby, when the accident happened.

It's believed the young man has caught his hand in between steel.

There is still a possibility that some of his fingers could be saved.
